Passion makes man capable to achieve what he desires..

There are two great days in a person’s life – the day we are born and the day we discover why.
Raj Mayukh Dam
The Storyteller Through the Lens – A documentary photojournalist and filmmaker by passion, not just profession. For him, art, photography, and filmmaking are not mere crafts—they are the very pulse of his being. His eyes, forever searching, drift from corner to corner of the world, not in haste, but in wonder—seeking stories, light, truth, and the quiet beauty that so often goes unnoticed.
There is a saying: “If we could all see the world through the eyes of a child, we would see the magic in everything.”
That magic is what he seeks—patiently, curiously, soulfully.
His journey into photojournalism and media world was not a sudden leap but a gentle unfolding. As a child, his hands were always at work—drawing, painting, creating. Art was his first language. But as life progressed, academic pursuits in healthcare science and business management studies gradually overshadowed that creative spark. The canvas and colours gave way to books and responsibilities. Yet, the longing remained.
In time, that longing found a new voice in photography. The lens became his brush, the world his canvas. What began as a quiet escape soon transformed into a calling. With tireless self-practice, he began to see differently—to notice the poetry in ordinary things, to hear the silent stories whispering through the everyday.
Eventually, he made a choice—bold and, to many, unwise—to leave behind the stability of his healthcare and business management profession and follow the uncertain, yet deeply fulfilling path of photojournalism and film making. His family and friends worried, questioned. But within him, something had clicked into place.
His years in healthcare counselling and business management had given him something precious: the ability to listen deeply, to see people not just as subjects, but as living stories. He began to understand that photography, for him, is not simply about creating compelling images. It is about connection—emotional, psychological, human. To truly photograph someone is to see them with the heart before pressing the shutter.
His work is guided by one quiet purpose: to reflect the deeper meaning of our existence, the shared humanity that binds us, and the beauty that lies within every soul.
With each passing day, the lens reveals more than just images—it reveals his own essence. His experiences shape his vision; his art mirrors his journey. Through his photographs, he shares not only what he sees, but what he feels, believes, and learns.
He has come to understand that to truly capture human souls and culture, one must first love humanity. It is in the warmth of strangers, the dignity of simplicity, and the honest exchange of stories that the soul of a culture is found.
I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy..
